PLANNED UPGRADES TO SKI TRAILS AND LIFTS AT
THE ARIZONA SNOWBOWL
We’re planning to upgrade our facilities
to make the Snowbowl better than ever. One of the major components
of this upgrades is snowmaking on 95 percent of our ski trails.
In addition, we plan to make lots of improvements to our lifts and
other facilities, such as:
- Replacing the Sunset Lift with a detachable, high-speed quad
to mid-mountain
- Constructing a new Humphreys Lift and 55 acres of new intermediate
trails
- Replacing the Hart Prairie Lift with a detachable, high-speed
quad
- Realigning the Aspen Lift
- Adding three surface for first-time skiers and children’s
programs
- Constructing a half-pipe
- Replacing the Agassiz Lodge and converting the existing facility
to a lounge
- Expanding the Hart Prairie Lodge
- In addition, we'll also be adding a snowplay/tubing area in lower
Hart Prairie.
